The goal of the Student Service Corps is to encourage a college-going identity and academic success through positive relationships and development of life skills to enable elementary students to succeed in the classroom and beyond. All student volunteers may be transported to the school sites via campus vehicles with the designated Service Corps Coordinators from the OSL or volunteers may choose to transport themselves.
Health Care Corps will focus on teaching students about physical, mental, emotional, and dental health. Students will learn the benefits of a healthy diet, how the body works, how to discuss their emotions, and how to deal with stress. Health Care Corps will hold programming at Scott School. (Coordinator: Maria Zurita-Lemus, Lead: Ellen Cruise)
